How do I add my own images to the Adobe Illustrator templates?
Select the image you’d like to replace. In the Layers panel, locate the sublayer for that template. Select the arrow to expand the sublayer so you can see all contents within. Select the Image sublayer—expand so you can see the <Clipping Path> layer & <Image>. We will be placing the new image in between these layers.
2. To import your new image to the template, select File > Place…
3. Select the image you’d like to add, and click Place. Position the cursor above the corresponding artboard and click to embed the image.
4. Select your image within the Layers panel and drag your image directly under the <Clipping Path> layer. Shift your image to your liking to ensure the entire shape is filled.
5. Once your image is placed how you like it, you can delete the placeholder image (which should be located underneath your new image) to remove unnecessary elements from your design. Change the copy to your liking and ¡voila!, you have a beautifully branded graphic.
